As the ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ singers make history as the first K-pop band to play for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, we look back at some of the best performances, from Taylor Swift to Ed Sheeran

The annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show is only partly about lingerie—it’s also a celebration of musical stars, and the 2025 edition was no exception. K-pop princesses Twice appeared on the runway—at least, four of the nine members did. Nayeon, Jihyo, Tzuyu and Momo kicked things off with the title track from This Is For, the album they released in August this year. They followed this up with Strategy from last December’s EP of the same name.

Twice have been in the news constantly this year with their appearance on the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, as well as their This Is For World tour, which is coming to Hong Kong in December. Also appearing in this year’s show were Colombian superstar Karol G, pop singer Madison Beer and Grammy-winning rap queen Missy Elliot.

But these are far from the first big names to perform at the Victoria’s Secret show. Here are some of the most fun acts to support the Angels through the years.

Taylor Swift may have only just released an album called The Life of a Showgirl, but she got a taste for the life at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret show in New York. She performed her hit I Knew You Were Trouble and shared the runway with friends Karlie Kloss and Lily Aldridge.

The following year, she was back for the show, this time taking to the stage in London, and performing Blank Space and Style.

Ed Sheeran

Swift’s pal Ed Sheeran also appeared at the 2014 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in London. The singer-songwriter, whose new album Play was released in September, sang his Grammy-winning, wedding-first-dance favourite Thinking Out Loud.

Peaches star Justin Bieber is no stranger to model life, married as he is to Hailey Bieber, but when he performed at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret show, he was but a fresh-faced 18-year-old. Despite being surrounded by lingerie-clad Angels, he managed to stay focused and deliver rousing renditions of Beauty and a Beat and As Long As You Love Me.

Rihanna

Also at the 2012 show, six years before she launched her own hugely successful lingerie brand Savage X Fenty, pop princess Rihanna took to the VS stage as a performer.

The Victoria’s Secret fashion show was on hiatus from 2019 to 2024, and who better to feature as one of the musical stars on the comeback show in 2024 than the ultimate showgirl, Cher who performed her massive hits Strong Enough and Believe as the likes of Gigi Hadid and Adriana Lima stormed the runway.
