The Hollywood star will explore her mother’s homeland for the first time in this international documentary film

Hollywood celebrity and entrepreneur Vanessa Hudgens is set to document her first trip to the Philippines in an international documentary film produced by TEN17P.

The film will focus on Hudgens' journey to the Philippines, her road to international stardom as an American-born half-Filipino, and her close relationship with her Filipino mom, Gina.

It will be shot in Palawan and Manila later this March, produced and directed by Tatler Asia's Most Influential honouree Paul Soriano.

Hudgens has always been proud of her family history, with her mother venturing to the United States at 25 years old.

“I feel like ours is such a relatable story to so many women worldwide,” the 34-year-old A-lister says. “The more that we can share, the more we can lift each other.”
