Nine films produced at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic will be screened for free at the Cine Adarna of the UPFI Film Center. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming event

Traces of the pandemic are still present more than three years after it wreaked havoc worldwide. Among the most affected sectors are filmmakers who barely had access to materials or content. This April, the UP Film Institute, in partnership with Cinemata, invite everyone to an on-site screening of the films featured in 'Cinemata Visions: Lived Lives in the Present Struggle', a collection of UPFI student films produced at the height of COVID-19.

The event, which will happen on April 27, 2pm, at the Cine Adarna of the UPFI Film Center, University of the Philippines-Diliman, is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Following the screenings are Q&A sessions with the filmmakers.
