Soak up all the festivities at these Ramadan bazaars that offer a stunning line-up of food and retail stalls
This year, Ramadan falls on March 23 and on top of being a period of worship and piety, the month also sees the return of exciting Ramadan bazaars. Often running from the afternoon to late at night, these bazaars are a great spot to visit for delectable street food and raya shopping.
On top of the popular Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar, one of the biggest bazaars in Singapore, this year we also see the return of various smaller-scale bazaars too, such as the Twilight Flea & Feast Ramadan Bazaar and LalooLalang Raya Bazaar.

1. Raikan Cahaya Ramadan Bazaar
Located in the heart of Kampong Gelam, the Raikan Cahaya Ramadan Bazaar sees over 100 food and retail stalls. In the retail section, find a selection of booths selling traditional Malay clothing, artisanal accessories, art pieces and more. When you feel peckish, savour street food from Ramly burgers to traditional kueh.
Aside from shopping and eating, a range of community activities are available too, such as charity drives and mass iftar sessions. Visit during the weekend and catch projection lighting and aerial light performances by drone-controlled LED kites.

2. Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar
This iconic bazaar has returned bigger than ever. This year, the Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar will see 700 booths, boasting a wide selection of food, drinks and retail goodies. Themed Raya Gemilang (glorious feast), the bazaar features two concept zones: Souq City and Street Bazaar. The former is located along Wisma Geylang Serai and is home to booths hawking food, drinks and retail items. The latter stretches from Geylang Serai Market to Tanjong Katong Complex and puts the spotlight on interactive art installations.

3. LalooLalang Raya Bazaar
Head down to this pop-up bazaar at Aliwal Arts Centre in Kampong Gelam for your Ramadan festivities. While its line-up has not been announced, anticipate 50 stalls ranging from food to fashion.
When: April 7 to 9

4. Twilight Flea & Feast Ramadan Bazaar
An extension of the popular Halal Food & Flea Market, the Twilight Ramadan Bazaar offers a selection of Halal and Muslim-owned vendors ranging from food and drinks to fashion and beauty products. Set to occur the weekend before Hari Raya Puasa, this bazaar makes for the best spot to visit to stock up on last-minute festive needs.
