Celebrate the best of OPM with the Pinoy Playlist Music Festival
The word “tribute” has always been associated with the past, and this year’s Pinoy Playlist Music Festival (PPMF) is looking to redefine it with its unique line-up of artists. They aren’t merely paying homage to the music we grew up with—the festival also recognises the now and the future of OPM as it gets remade and reshaped by innovative creators.
A three-day music festival transcending generations and genres, the PPMF follows the theme of “Gunita at Mga Bukas” (Memories and Futures). From solo performances and bands to pop, theatre and campus acts, the PPMF is sure to be an immersive experience into the tapestry of Filipino music across time.

Above Artist Line up
From September 29 to October 1, music enthusiasts can expect to see at least 45 performances across three venues of the BGC Arts Center—the Globe Auditorium, the Zobel de Ayala Recital Hall, and the Sun Life Amphitheatre. But that’s not all! Forums and workshops on the different aspects of music-making will also be held during the PPMF days, giving you the chance to mingle with fellow musicians, industry professionals, and audiophiles.
Each performance would be different from the last, bearing at least a tinge of change from how it’s usually heard. Each day will also have a special gig that pays tribute to the Ryan Cayabyab Awardees this year, namely Alfonso “Coke” Bolipata, Mel Villena, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
