And with the notoriously short K-drama seasons, viewers have a small time frame to catch these currently ongoing shows: The Witch is scheduled to air its final episode on March 16, while the others will end in late March and April.
Buried Hearts
Prepare to see an entirely new side of Park Hyung-sik in Buried Hearts, a revenge thriller that marks a striking departure from his usual lighthearted roles. Best known for his performances in Strong Girl Bong-soon, Happiness, Soundtrack #1, and Doctor Slump, Park surprises both fans and critics with his transformation into Seo Dong-ju, the sharp and ambitious right-hand man of the Daesan Group’s chairman.
Dong-ju’s drive for success—and his love for the chairman’s granddaughter, Yeo Eun-nam (played by Hong Hwa-yeon)—pull him into a treacherous power struggle. His greatest adversary is Yeom Jang-sun (Heo Jun-ho), a ruthless kingmaker and former director of the National Intelligence Service (NIS), who will stop at nothing to protect his own interests.
With its intricate web of power plays, betrayals, and shifting loyalties, Buried Hearts keeps viewers on edge. Even minor characters seem to have hidden agendas, making it impossible to predict who can be trusted. Dong-ju’s journey is filled with twists, and you won’t want to miss a single one.

Undercover High School
The season’s unexpected breakout hit, Undercover High School, wasted no time in capturing audiences’ attention. Within its first week, it soared to the top of buzzworthy drama rankings, while its lead, Seo Kang-joon, was named the most talked-about actor of the moment.
Best known for his roles in Cheese in the Trap, Are You Human?, and When the Weather Is Fine, Seo Kang-joon takes on the role of an elite NIS agent tasked going undercover as a student at Byeongmoon High School. His mission is to track down King Gojong’s missing gold, but before he can even begin the search, he must navigate the everyday minefield of school bullies, midterms and the chaos of teenage life.
Seamlessly blending action, comedy, and even a touch of horror, Undercover High School delivers a genre-defying experience that keeps viewers hooked. With its fast-paced storytelling and unexpected twists, this drama proves to be as thrilling as it is entertaining.
The Potato Lab
The only romantic comedy on this list, The Potato Lab brings a fresh twist to the enemies-to-lovers trope—set against the unexpected backdrop of the potato industry.
Lee Sun-bin stars as Kim Mi-kyung, a passionate researcher at the Potato Research Institute, whose meticulously structured life is thrown into disarray with the arrival of So Baek-ho (played by Kang Tae-oh). Marking his highly anticipated post-enlistment return to the small screen, Kang takes on the role of the institute’s newly appointed director—a man as charming as he is calculating. From the moment they meet, Mi-kyung and Baek-ho clash at every turn, their fiery dynamic keeping tensions (and chemistry) running high.
Following his breakout role in the beloved Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Kang Tae-oh’s return has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Fans and critics alike are praising The Potato Lab for striking the perfect balance between romance, humour, and physical comedy, making it a standout in this season’s lineup.

The Witch
From Kang Full, the acclaimed writer behind Moving and Lightshop Keeper, comes The Witch—a hauntingly compelling romance mystery that blurs the lines between superstition and reality.
Park Jin-young stars as Lee Dong-jin, a brilliant data analyst determined to prove that the girl who once captivated him isn’t the cursed witch everyone believes her to be. Roh Jeong-eui plays Park Mi-jung, a young woman shunned by society for allegedly bringing death to those who get too close. Though the curse seems irrational, the statistics suggest otherwise. Determined to uncover the truth, Dong-jin embarks on a mission that challenges not just his skills, but his deepest beliefs. The more he investigates, the more he begins to question: Is there a logical explanation, or is something truly supernatural at work? The Witch keeps audiences questioning reality until the very end.
