What went down in Tatler’s invite-only soiree attended by familiar Tatler friends alongside fun-loving newcomers
Held at the Astor Room of The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, Tatler Malaysia’s first Fifty Shades of Fun party delivered an unforgettably colourful night, setting the tone for a bright and merry end of the year with ball season in full swing.
Presented in partnership with Chopard, August Store, YSL Beauty, Moët Hennessy Diageo and PaperKite Beer, this exclusive event in Kuala Lumpur brought together a select group of Tatler friends alongside the city’s hippest young crowd, introducing an array of promising new faces to the Tatler milieu and blending glamour and glitz into an unapologetically fun atmosphere.

Upon arrival, guests enjoyed delicious signature cocktails by Glemorangie and Belvedere, along with a generous flow of PaperKite beer.
Thanks to the creative flair of YSL Beauty, the Astor Room of the St. Regis Kuala Lumpur was decked out in playful pink and black decor in line with YSL Beauty’s youthful new Loveshine collection. YSL Beauty’s pink heart corner was also a popular spot amongst revellers as they gathered to snap wefies and selfies galore.
Performances by Clinton Jerome, Elvira Arul, Pharreal Phuong, and DJ Victor Goh—all decked out in Chopard timepieces and jewellery—kept the energy high, with guests embracing the laid-back yet undeniably chic vibe of the Astor Room.
There to sate our hunger pangs in between trips to the dance floor and back, immaculately crafted canapés and finger foods were prepared by The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur team, including lychee wasabi snacks, crab cakes and apom balik.

As a stylish memento, our Fifty Shades of Fun attendees took home door gifts comprising Loveshine lipsticks from YSL Beauty for women—while the men received a signature YSL Beauty fragrance. Guests were also gifted with a a shopping voucher from August Store worth RM300.
