Everything is set for the biggest Fête de la Musique in the Philippines! Here are the activities you should not miss this June
The first Fête de la Musique in the Philippines started in 1994 with a single venue and a modest audience of 40. What began as a small gathering has since grown into a massive, multi-stage celebration that brings together music lovers from all walks of life.
This year, the Fête de la Musique Philippines, presented by the Alliance Française de Manille, boasts its “biggest” celebration yet. The theme Un Monde highlights the festival’s commitment to fostering international camaraderie and understanding through music.

The highly anticipated music event returns on June 21, taking centre stage once again at the iconic Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City. This year’s lineup is set to strike all the right chords, blending celebrated headliners with fresh, rising talent. Taking the spotlight are Brigada, Janine, Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas featuring Leanne and Naara, James Reid, The Ridleys and Tarsius x Ena Mori.
Off-stage performances will add another layer of sonic surprise, with sets from Filipino artists Frank Ely and Zsaris, Bolivian pop darling Bling Bling Papaya and Singapore-based Pinoy queer artist Marian Carmel.
The celebration will also welcome international acts: Japanese singer-songwriter Ito Kashitaro and French groove maestro Emile Londonien, both gracing the main stage with their global sounds.
Satellite events will also be held throughout June as Fête de la Musique kicks off with a pool party on June 1 at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City, featuring beats by DJs Francie Gee, Marco Pedro and Eva Smalls.

Harnessing the healing power of sound, the event brings back its beloved advocacy “Music Heals” with a Sound Healing Festival on June 8, led by the Aruga Collective. Throughout the afternoon, guests can explore a diverse mix of workshops and experiences, ranging from sound healing and incense appreciation to cacao ceremonies and other holistic wellness practices.
Another event to mark on your calendar is the Shangri-La Plaza Stage on June 13, promising an intimate yet dynamic showcase of fresh Gen Z talent. Artist announcements coming soon.
And the music doesn’t stop there. After the main stage on June 21, the Fête spreads across Makati with pocket stages lighting up the Barangay Poblacion fiesta on June 27, offering an eclectic mix of genres in cosy, community-driven venues. On June 28, the beat travels beyond the capital, with additional pocket stages and 29 destination stages across the country—from Northern Luzon to Southern Mindanao—truly making it a nationwide celebration.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Un Monde to life for our 31st celebration of Fête de la Musique,” says Xavier Leroux, executive director of Alliance Française de Manille. “Music has a unique way of breaking barriers. This year, we spotlight how Filipino music resonates on a global scale—proving that we truly are One World.”
Fête de la Musique Philippines is a free, open-to-all celebration of music and community. Full artist line-ups and the complete schedule will be revealed in the coming weeks.
