On its 30th anniversary in the Philippines, the much-anticipated Fete de la Musique on World Music Day festival expands to over 100 stages across the archipelago

World Music Day celebrations in the Philippines will turn 30 in 2024. To mark this milestone, the creative minds behind Fête de la Musique invite music lovers to a jam-packed Féte de la Musique schedule, which kicks off on June 20 at Raffles Makati.

A global phenomenon that began in 1982 in France, Fête de la Musique transforms streets and public spaces into dynamic music stages. It gathers people from diverse racial backgrounds who have a penchant for various music genres.

Merely 40 attendees witnessed the first single-venue event of Fête de la Musique in the Philippines in 1994. Now, there will be over 100 stages across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao for this year’s festivities, to be led by many of today’s hottest bands and music acts in the country’s music scene and beyond.

The iconic Greenbelt 3 park will host the main stage of FetePH30 on June 21. The event will feature a full day of music from Filipino artists SHANNi, Jason Dhakal x Lustbass, Sinosikat x Jose Miguel, Dwata, Jewelmer Jazz Band, Any Name's Okay, Morobeats, Autotelic, and Dilaw.

Continuing the Fête PH tradition of promoting French-Filipino cultural exchange, the event brings Pfel & Greem of C2C, the biggest French act to grace the Fête PH stage. C2C revolutionised the music scene with their Victoires de la Musique French award-winning DJ’s album. Pfel & Greem take the dancefloor by storm with this explosive duo and their four turntables. Pfel & Greem C2C are set to perform at Mistral in Raffles Makati on June 20 and the Greenbelt main stage on June 21.
