Philately, not lately. The celebrities are embracing their need for order with unusual collections
The art of collecting might seem a whimsical quirk, but it’s deeply rooted in human psychology. Researchers suggest that collecting fulfils a primal need for order, identity, and connection. And what better way to connect than to assemble an array of, well, anything?
Whether it’s driven by childhood nostalgia or peculiar passions, these A-listers’ collections reveal surprising sides to their personalities. Stamps and coins are not a part of this list—not that philately and numismatics are a bad thing. These celebrities are a little more unconventional with what could be called ‘structured hoarding.’
