Tatler+
A curated afternoon at TRX Premium Lounge celebrating mothers through music, indulgence, and shared moments of connection.
The Eternal Bloom Mother’s Day Soirée was a bespoke celebration by Tatler for mothers and The Exchange TRX Premium Lounge members, honouring the most important women in our lives through an afternoon of refined luxury on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Set in an intimate, softly elevated space, the afternoon unfolded over elegant high tea and live music. More than just a gathering, it felt personal and thoughtfully put together, with interactive activations woven throughout the space for guests to explore, experience, and move through the afternoon. A chance to slow down, reconnect, and spend quality time with the women who matter most, our mothers.

The afternoon begins with a warm welcome from emcee Nelissa Nezam as guests arrive and ease into the TRX Premium Lounge, setting a calm and welcoming atmosphere for the celebration. From there, all activities begin to unfold, inviting guests to move through the space at their own pace.
As the space fills, guests move naturally between stations. Pausing to create, explore, and enjoy each moment. The first Venchi tasting session follows, adding a warm, indulgent touch to the afternoon as conversations begin to flow more easily.
From the floral cart by W.ild Florist, where guests could curate their own bouquets based on their favourite blooms, to bag charm customisation by Machino, which quickly became a crowd favourite, each activation offered a personal touch. Guests also created keepsakes at the Glambooth My photo booth, while the Helena Rubinstein face yoga experience introduced the brand’s signature massage gestures through its iconic skincare line, alongside Venchi tastings that added a sweet indulgence to the afternoon.

The afternoon was elevated with a live acoustic performance by Clinton Jerome Chua, a Miri-born singer-songwriter. He opens with a 30-minute set that gently lifts the atmosphere, adding a soulful layer to the experience as guests continue enjoying high tea service throughout the space.
Guests also took their time enjoying a selection of small bites and sweet treats from Amazonas and Kimpton Naluria, with a menu featuring delicate savoury bites and beautifully crafted desserts that balanced flavours and textures, appealing to both mothers and their children. Coffee and tea were also served throughout the afternoon, offering a comforting, refined accompaniment as guests snacked, chatted, and eased into the moment.

As the afternoon drew to a close, guests left with curated goodie bags as a thoughtful takeaway from the celebration. Each gift bag included a TRX teddy bear, the Tatler Malaysia May issue magazine and selected treats from Bacha Coffee and Venchi, as well as special touches from Helena Rubinstein and BOSS, adding a final note of indulgence before guests said their goodbyes and carried the experience home with them.
