CCP National Theatre Live returns for another season this 2024! Below are stage plays you shouldn’t miss
After its successful 2023 run, the Cultural Center of the Philippines National Theatre Live (CCP NTL) sets the stage anew, this time for a bigger, brighter, and bolder season. First launched in 2009, the NTL is a groundbreaking project to broadcast the best of British theatre live from the London stage to cinemas all over the globe.
NTL films their plays in front of live theatre audiences but optimises the recording for the big screen for fans outside of the United Kingdom.“The actors on stage deliver their performances as they normally would any other night. But to make sure our audiences watching in the cinema have the best seats in the house, we tailor the position of our cameras to capture each production and work closely with technical teams to make sure every element on stage, such as lighting, hair and make-up, look fantastic on the big screen.”
