We have to admit it— time travel plots are quite puzzling; good thing these series and movies prove that they're worth the watch!
Time travelling, or moving between certain points of time, is a mind-boggling concept that many scientists and researchers have a hard time keeping a firm grasp on.
According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), time travel is possible but not the way we imagined; it happens when we use telescopes that help us see stars and galaxies that are far away (it takes a very long time for light from faraway galaxies to reach Earth; so when we look at the sky, we are seeing what the stars looked like a very long time ago).
It also happens when aeroplanes or satellites travel at a different speed than those on Earth (everyone is travelling in time at approximately the same speed: 1 second per second).
The ability to travel through time has long been embraced by many storytellers despite debates on its existence. In this article, we list some of the most interesting movies and series that explore this confusing yet riveting part of science.

1. Back To The Future
If you love scrolling through Internet pages that explain the science of time travelling, you must have seen Back To The Future more than once. Conceived in 1980 by writers Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, the film follows the story of Marty McFly.
McFly is a teenager who was accidentally sent back in time by Dr Emmett "Doc" Brown through his DeLorean automobile. Trapped in the past, McFly is forced to reconcile with his parents so he would exist in the present time.
Fun fact: Back To The Future was the inspiration behind the 2013 hit animation show, Rick and Morty.
