The wine industry has long been a playground for the elite, but in recent years, more celebrities have been swapping red carpets for rolling vineyards. With the global wine market expected to reach $528.5 billion by 2028, it’s easy to see why Hollywood’s moneyed finest are eager to pour their investments into the business. Many stars have slapped their names onto existing brands but a select few have taken things further. These A-listers own vineyards and produce wines that have earned serious acclaim.

From award-winning Napa Valley vintages to French rosés that have become the toast of summer, here are some of the most notable celebrity-owned wine labels.
1. Brad Pitt: Château Miraval (Provence, France)

Academy Award-winner Brad Pitt co-owns Château Miraval, a stunning Provence estate famous for its highly praised rosé. He originally bought it with ex-wife Angelina Jolie and it has become a point of contention in their ongoing divorce after Jolie sold her stake to Stoli Group’s Tenute del Mondo, which Pitt is now challenging in court. Despite the drama, Miraval rosé remains one of the most celebrated celebrity wines, consistently receiving top scores for its delicate, floral notes and crisp minerality.
2. Francis Ford Coppola: Francis Ford Coppola Winery (California, USA)
The Godfather director makes cinematic masterpieces and excellent wine, too. Coppola’s sprawling Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Sonoma County produces a diverse bevvy of wines, from easy-drinking reds to critically acclaimed reserve vintages. With a deep passion for winemaking, Coppola has transformed his vineyard into a wine and hospitality empire, offering award-winning bottles like the Diamond Collection Claret Cabernet Sauvignon, known for its rich, full-bodied character. He also has a label named after his daughter, acclaimed film director Sofia.

3. Pink: Two Wolves Wine (California, USA)
Pink (Alecia Moore) is as passionate about her Santa Barbara-based vineyard, Two Wolves Wine, as she is about music. Unlike many celebrity ventures who just put their name on and leave, she is deeply involved in the process, personally working the land and overseeing production. Her small-batch, organic wines have been well received, with the cabernet franc and syrah earning praise for their bold flavours and impeccable balance.
4. Sam Neill: Two Paddocks (New Zealand)
Sam Neill is apparently a palaeontologist (or at least he plays one on the Jurassic Park franchise) and a wine connoisseur. He’s been producing top-tier pinot noir in New Zealand’s Central Otago region for decades under his label, called Two Paddocks. Like Pink, Neill is fully immersed in the business and is even responsible for his wines’ quirky names. His pinot noirs, particularly the First Paddock and The Fusilier, are often considered among the best in the region, known for their elegance, earthiness and refined tannins.
5. Yao Ming: Yao Family Wines (California, USA)
Basketball legend Yao Ming took his talents from the court to the vineyard with Yao Family Wines, a Napa Valley-based winery specialising in bold cabernet sauvignon. His flagship Yao Ming Cabernet Sauvignon has received high ratings from critics thanks to its deep complexity and ageing potential. The winery also donates a portion of its proceeds to charities supporting children’s education in China.
6. Dave Matthews: Blenheim Vineyards (Virginia, USA)
Music and wine go hand in hand for Dave Matthews, who owns Blenheim Vineyards in Virginia. His vineyard focuses on sustainability so the products are organic, small-batch wines that include chardonnay, viognier, and cabernet franc. 7. Kyle MacLachlan: Pursued by Bear (Washington, USA)

9. Wayne Gretzky – Wayne Gretzky Estates (Canada)
Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky took his winning streak to the wine industry with Wayne Gretzky Estates in Ontario, Canada. Known for producing high-quality ice wines and bold reds, the winery also features a whisky distillery. His No. 99 Cabernet Merlot is a bestseller, offering a smooth, rich taste with hints of blackberry and oak.
10. Fergie: Ferguson Crest (California, USA)
