On March 24, the museum hosted The Party at M+, a grand affair for international guests and art patrons, to start off Art Week

On Monday, March 24, the M+ museum in Hong Kong transformed into a vibrant hub of artistic expression and networking, hosting its annual international celebratory event during Art Month in Hong Kong. The evening, co-organised with Eaton HK, drew an impressive 3,200 guests from the international and local arts community, including esteemed museum directors, curators, artists, makers, art collectors and critics.

As the night unfolded, guests were treated to an exclusive viewing of M+’s meticulously curated exhibitions, offering a glimpse into the museum’s latest artistic treasures.

The event was further elevated by performances from local art institutions and groups, including the Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile, Eaton HK and Hong Kong Community Radio. These showcases highlighted the dynamic and thriving local arts scene, leaving attendees in awe.

The countdown was officially on for Art Basel to kick off a mere two days later. Conversations flowed as freely as the drinks, with local artists and international collectors exchanging ideas and ambitions. Moments like these reminded everyone present why Hong Kong is more than just a backdrop for art; it’s a living, breathing canvas, rich with stories waiting to be explored.
