The Oscar-winning actress has been living at the Mandarin Oriental Residences in Beverly Hills for the past few months—take a look at the extravagant homes inside the new five-star property here

Michelle Yeoh has been living at the Mandarin Oriental Residences in Beverly Hills since January 2023. And in February, days before the 95th Academy Awards, where she won the best actress award for her role in 2022’s Everything Everywhere All at Once—becoming the first Asian woman to do so—the luxury development hosted a dinner in her honour.

Here, we take a peek at the ultra-luxe homes inside the property, which opened its doors in December 2022, marking the Hong Kong-headquartered five-star hotel brand’s first branded residences on the West Coast of the US.

Located in prestigious Beverly Hills, the property offers 54 homes that range from one-bedroom to four-bedroom units.

Designed by UK-based interior design studio 1508 London, the homes each offer panoramic views of Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills, and private outdoor terraces. Some of the homes also feature interior bonsai gardens.

The property also boasts a rooftop pool with cabanas and daybeds; a residents-only spa; and a central courtyard and rooftop by landscape architectural firm Enzo Enea Library, as well as the usual suspects inside a property of this calibre, such as a yoga studio, outdoor meditation terrace and gym.

An outpost of Café Boulud by the famed chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud, who operates two-Michelin-starred Daniel in New York City, will open soon. This marks Boulud’s West Coast debut.

For those looking to become the actress’s neighbour, the homes are priced from US$3.6 million and up.

Residents enjoy exclusive services from dedicated teams, such as a resident manager, personal chef, private butler, sommelier and bartender. Other whims that can be catered to include personal shopping and floral arrangements. A partnership between the property and luxury department store Saks Fifth Avenue offers owners in particular access to a concierge service, private styling appointments, and after-hours shopping at the store’s Beverly Hills location.

There are also services that guests at a five-star hotel would expect, like a dedicated concierge team and full-time doorman and valet.

Marketed as a property that offers “private homes offering the legendary services of a great hotel with none of the guests”, the development is not attached to a hotel. It is developed by US luxury real estate developer Shvo.
