Three years ago, Dr Z and Dr Aivee Teo posted photos of their gentle giants–poodles who are larger than average but have gentle, baby-like personalities. The posts became viral and garnered attention from social media users, especially dog-loving celebrities and influencers.
Seeing how their fur babies have become immensely popular both online and offline, Dr Z founded Designer Z Giant Poodles in hopes of being able to share the overwhelming love. He views this newest endeavour that is proudly part of the Aivee Group as his own personal outlet where he nurtures his passion and love for the breed. Three beautiful poodles from Designer Z soon found new homes and loving paw-rents in Cat Antonio, JC Intal, and Yassi Pressman who share with us their best moments with their giant fur babies. Fun fact: many of the adorable poodles are named after Dr Z’s favourite cities which are of course as grand as the dogs themselves.

Cat Antonio and Hamilton
Cat Antonio shares that having a fur baby like Hamilton is like being with a massive stuffed toy all the time. “Truly my favourite. He’s very intelligent, super sweet, very clean, always smells good and he goes with me everywhere they allow dogs his size,” she enthuses.

On social media, Antonio is often seen carrying her cuddly companion or pushing his equally adorable stroller. No day is ever the same with Hamilton but what’s certain is that it’s always a fun and memorable time. If she were to choose something she loves about him, it’s when he jumps on her to be carried whenever he’s scared of something, forgetting how big he is. “He is really the epitome of a gentle giant,” says Antonio.

JC Intal and Dublin
JC Intal and his wife Bianca were never really fond of dogs until they saw Dublin, who was just three months old when they welcomed him into their home. “The most memorable was when I first met him. It was really like love at first sight," Intal shares. "He is part of our family and every day we make sure that he feels our love. Dublin is like our youngest son and my daughters treat him like a baby."

Dublin turns three this August but he is still the same child-like puppy the couple fell in love with. He loves chilling on the couch, in the living area, or under the dining table–sometimes acting like a real toddler. Their daughters adore Dublin and even play make-believe with him.

Yassi Pressman and Euro
Before meeting her beloved giant poodle Euro, Yassi Pressman’s pets were in every way, alpha male dogs. She shares that her proudest moment as a fur parent was when she first took Euro home, and he instantly became friends with her older pups.

Pressman loves Euro’s vibrant character, his looks, and how unique he is in the house beside all his newest siblings, given his stature as a walking irony–a big dog with curly hair and a gentle personality. He loves to play with all of the other dogs at home. As a pet, Euro’s energy is just so contagious, so much so that he usually initiates play time and they always end up napping together. “Beside all the bullies, he truly is a ball of fluff,” she remarks.
