Daybeds are incredibly versatile pieces of furniture made for lounging. Unlike convertible sofa beds, daybeds are static in form but can feature beautiful designs that look perfect nearly anywhere in an abode, from the living room to bedrooms. Some daybeds are also upholstered in weather-resistant or waterproof fabrics that make them ideal for outdoor use.

Here, we’ve picked out a selection of daybeds that will help up the style ante of your space.

4. Flexform Hamptons daybed by Antonio Citterio

Designed by Italian architect Antonio Citterio, the Hamptons daybed is crafted from solid iroko wood and features generously-padded cushions with elegant grosgrain piping that can be stitched tone-on-tone or in a contrasting shade.

For homes with earthy schemes, stick to the natural finish for the wood base, or opt for the stained grey or lacquered white finish for a stylish touch to your space. Aluminum feet at the bottom of the base help protect the wood from direct contact with the ground to prevent humidity issues.
