Home sweet home is a sanctuary for this couple and their furry pets. Here’s how they made their kitchen a safe and cosy centre of their abode, using V-Zug appliances
“Happiness is a warm puppy”—that sentiment, as expressed by the title of American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz’s first book, is certainly keenly felt in this Singapore home.
When homeowners Low Chee Hwa and Kristina Dieta Setiabudi acquired this property, they made the safety and comfort of their animals a priority. Situated in the Caribbean at Keppel Bay condominium, the couple lives in the apartment with three pets: Milly, a golden retriever dog, Josh, King Charles spaniel dog, and Ella, a British shorthair kitten.
They made the kitchen a priority in their home with an open-plan design made to be “clean-lined, modern and inviting”. The culinary space is thus the true heart of their home and a place where their pets can roam freely throughout.

Low, a supply chains director, first became acquainted with the Swiss luxury appliance brand V-Zug during his work stint in Zug a decade ago; the city is also the headquarters of the European brand. He and his wife both admire the sleek design of these household appliances, hence the brand was top of their mind when they were planning for their home renovation.
“When I was living in Zug, my experience with using V-Zug appliances—particularly the steam oven—left a lasting impression. These products also reminded me of the beautiful memories of living in Zug; Lake Zug has one the most beautiful sunset in the world,” shares Low.
Culinary appliances that the couple owns from V-Zug include the four-zone induction hobs and cooker hood, CombiCooler refrigerator, AdoraDish dishwasher, Pyrolytic oven, Combi Steam oven, and the CoffeeCenter machine; their home is also equipped with the AdoraWash washing machine and AdoraDry dryer.
