Dine and imbibe amidst a verdant setting at this multi-concpet restaurant located on the grounds of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Soak in the botanical charm within the interiors of the contemporary garden restaurant and bar that’s decorated with lively potted and hanging plants. Wood flooring in a herringbone pattern and warm ambient lighting creates a cosy ambience. Outside, an al-fresco dining area features abundant hanging plants that are lined with fairy lights for a romantic charm.

Luxury urban resort Dusit Thani Laguna opened its doors on our island late last year to much fanfare. The Greenhouse, which is the resort's all-day dining multi-ethnic restaurant, is bursting with lush greenery. As its name alludes, the restaurant takes its design concept after an actual greenhouse. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows bathe the space in natural light and offers diners a peek at the green landscape of the golf course at the resort. Furniture made from rattan and wicker add tactile appeal to the space.

3. Naeum

You’ll find yourself enveloped in serenity when you dine at Naeum, a modern Korean restaurant led by head chef and founder Louis Han. Featuring a delectable menu of contemporary and innovative Seoul-led dishes, the restaurant also boasts a refined and minimalistic interior designed by homegrown firm Drawn.

Stunning botanical arrangements with dried flowers in pastel tones greet guests at the entrance. Inside, various nooks and corners are brought to life by delicate blooms. Adding elegance and a whimsical charm to the space, the dried flowers also complement the light birch-coloured furniture and off-white colour palette beautifully.

4. Carrotsticks & Cravings

Aussie-inspired cafe Carrotsticks & Cravings proves its popularity with the opening of their third outlet this year. Located in the bustling Central Business District, the tropical-themed cafe had its interiors crafted by French designer Isabelle Miaja. Seeking to embody the ​​carefree atmosphere of Australian beaches, the cafe’s pastel green, pink and white colour scheme creates a contemporary and vibrant ambience.

Wallpaper with tropical motifs line the walls, and are accompanied by custom-made patterned textile and dining furniture from Bali. Wood accents and floral table displays add a lively charm. The cafe also has an outdoor patio area that’s furnished with large plants and customised seats from Bali. 

5. The Brewing Ground

Tucked away in a quiet side road off the buzzy Joo Chiat enclave is The Brewing Ground. Located next to an 80-year-old heritage kapok tree, the secluded cafe dishes up fresh brews and an impressive menu of brunch plates. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer plenty of natural light in the glasshouse-like cafe. The industrial-chic space is also crawling with foliage; hanging plants and lush vines are draped across the ceiling, while potted varieties are tucked in between seats and corners.

6. The Summerhouse

Housed in a beautiful black-and-white bungalow at the former Seletar Air Base, modern European restaurant Summerhouse boasts a rustic allure. Wood flooring and accents are accompanied by chairs upholstered in green and floral fabric, while large plants pepper the space in between tables. The draw of the restaurant, however, is the garden domes on its ground. Nestled amidst the farm-to-table restaurant’s edible garden, the well-known garden domes form the perfect bubble for enjoying a languid meal in privacy.

7. Canchita

One of Dempsey Hill’s newest additions, Canchita offers both delightful Peruvian cuisine and a lush setting to sample it in. The tranquil hideout is adorned with plants everywhere. Light wood accents and furnishings made from wicker and rattan creates a minimalist setting that allows the greens to pop. Large windows lining the walls of the restaurant amplifies the greenery and offers diners a look at the verdant landscape whilst they tuck into their delicious meals.
