The idyllic farm-to-table setting and European cuisine takes you out of Singapore and on a vacation-like retreat
The Summerhouse is located at Seletar Aerospace Park and going here for a meal is quite a trip. Diners though will be rewarded with a refreshing ‘countryside’ scenery, as well as an inspired modern European menu that stays true to the culinary team’s farm-to-table ethos. Start the meal with a crisp and herbaceous sauvignon blanc house wine to complement the light and fluffy omelette au crabe. For mains, you have the likes of poitrine de boeuf Mayura cuit sous vide pendant 100h. It’s a beautifully cooked pink and juicy beef which is perfectly paired with a side salad—crunchy arugula and kale showered with a sweet-tangy dressing. For something more hearty, the risotto d’epeautre is an al dente rice dish with a creamy sauce offset by crisp and earthy fried tempura mushrooms. For dessert, a fresh and light yoghurt sorbet mixed with berries and served with fresh flowers picked from the garden, completes the indulgent meal.
