“One of our major design principles is form follows function,” states Modernbrands marketing director Anne Young. “While aesthetics can greatly enhance the visual experience and emotional connection with a design, it should not compromise functionality. Its ground level is a testament to the exclusive partnership between Modernbrands and Molteni & C Dada Kitchens—one of their most important milestones as a company, Young attests. She says, “With the design team from Molteni&C at the helm, every detail from the exquisite flooring to the mesmerising decor was meticulously sourced and imported from Italy, effortlessly embodying the essence of the renowned Molteni & C brand.”
Young adds that much of their clientele is fond of the Dada VVD Kitchen, developed by Molteni & C and Dada creative director Vincent Van Duysen. Famous for his minimalist and timeless flair, Van Duysen’s kitchen designs embody a sense of understated elegance and functional simplicity. Additionally, with his masterful use of natural materials like wood, stone, and metal to lend warmth and authenticity to a space, the Belgian architect creates a tactile experience where one can appreciate organic textures and a connection with nature.
