By integrating precision light planning with intelligent control, Sol Luminaire, through its smart home division Sol-T, shapes homes that respond intuitively to modern life
Lighting and smart home systems are often conceived in parallel. One is concerned with atmosphere and visual comfort, the other with automation and convenience. When designed separately, the results can feel layered rather than integrated. Sol Luminaire has spent the past seventeen years refining a different approach, treating light as an architectural material and extending that discipline into intelligent control through its smart home division, Sol-T, launched just last year.
Founded in 2008, Sol Luminaire built its reputation on lighting precision across residential, retail and commercial projects. Each scheme begins not with fixtures, but with planning. Using Dialux simulation alongside on-site calibration, the team studies how light interacts with surfaces, volumes and circulation paths. The objective is clarity without glare, atmosphere without excess, and a balance between functional brightness and ambient warmth.

The brand’s early adoption of Chip-on-Board LED technology reflects a performance-led mindset that predates current sustainability discourse. Its Mini series, engineered with low Unified Glare Rating and adjustable beam angles, allows designers to sculpt light with accuracy while preserving visual comfort while its Dim-to-Warm capability ensures that transitions from task-oriented brightness to evening ambience feel gradual and natural.
At Sol Luminaire, light is composed in layers. The in-house team considers where attention should be directed, where surfaces should soften, and how light can support the rhythms of daily life. Across retail floors, commercial workspaces and private residences, this discipline has shaped a practical understanding of how lighting performs beyond drawings.

Intelligent Living
At the centre of Sol-T is Ltech, a smart control platform developed over two decades that comprises LED driver and automation innovation. Integrated with Sol Luminaire’s Aeon Tunable White luminaires, Ltech enables colour temperatures to shift from 2700K to 6500K, mirroring the progression of natural daylight. Cooler tones can support focus in the morning, while warmer hues create a softer environment as evening approaches.
Beyond lighting, Sol-T integrates climate systems, fans and motorised curtains into coordinated scenes that respond to lifestyle rather than device categories. A single setting can adjust brightness, draw shading and regulate temperature in one seamless transition.

Seamless Control
Control interfaces are designed with restraint. The Super Panel 12S and Super Panel 6S consolidate lighting and device management into refined high-definition touchscreens, reducing the need for multiple switches and remotes. For spaces where immediacy matters, the latest Super Panel G4 Pro Max introduces tactile buttons alongside touchscreen navigation, combining digital precision with physical ease.
Behind the interface, Sol-T’s structure is deliberately layered. The Sol-T Whizz Team serves as the first point of engagement, guiding homeowners, designers and businesses through showroom walk-throughs that translate complex automation systems into practical, lifestyle-driven configurations. Rather than overwhelming clients with technical vocabulary, they focus on how lighting, climate and shading can respond to daily routines in meaningful ways.

Following specification and installation, the Sol-T Engineers take over commissioning, system calibration and long-term servicing. Their role extends beyond handover. They monitor performance, troubleshoot future issues and ensure that control systems remain stable as spaces evolve. This continuity reinforces confidence in a technology that is designed to operate quietly in the background.

Trusted partnerships further strengthen the ecosystem. Collaboration with industry partners, like Everyday Curtains, for instance, allows motorised shading to integrate seamlessly within the same control framework, aligning artificial and natural light management in one cohesive system.
From disciplined light planning to intelligent integration and sustained support, Sol Luminaire positions itself as more than a supplier. Through Sol-T, it advances a vision in which domestic lighting is thoughtfully orchestrated, evolving with the way people live.
