1. Ossiano

At entrepreneur Ebraheem Al Samadi and socialite Loujain Adada’s blind date, the pair indulged in a fine dining experience at the one-Michelin-starred restaurant, Ossiano. Fondly known by locals as one of the most romantic underwater restaurants in the country, the dinner guests enjoyed their ten-course seafood dinner by Gregoire Berger, set against the backdrop of stingrays, sharks, and fish swimming in the aquarium.

Borrowing a contemporary design and food concept inspired by mesmerising oceans, some key features which add to the ambience include the venue’s spacious location which can seat up to 84 guests, the mood lighting, and a deejay which currently spins deep house beats.

2. Piatti By The Beach, Raffles The Palm Dubai

Farhana Bodi’s 36th birthday paid homage to Dolce & Gabbana, and was an occasion to remember at the beachside restaurant Piatti By The Beach located in the luxurious Raffles The Palm Dubai; this property is incidentally a sister hotel to Raffles Hotel Singapore.

Blending Mediterranean influences, nautical colours, and neoclassical design elements, the beachside setting is the place in Palm Jumeirah to relish authentic Italian fare and enjoy great design. Not to mention, the fact joint was brought over to Dubai by Bulldozer Group which is behind fine dining establishments like The Dorchester London’s China Tang.

3. Mosaico Lobby Lounge in Palazzo Versace Dubai

Designed by Donatella Versace, it is no wonder that the Mosaico Lobby Lounge has been a beloved high-tea spot for both fashion influencer Farhana Bodi and self-proclaimed Queen of Versace, Zeina Khoury. Khoury has a longtime association with the Italian maison, be it her personal style choices or the fact that she is the property consultant of the five-star hotel Palazzo Versace Dubai.

The 10,700 sq ft space is transformed with palatial influences from the Italian neoclassic 16th century from marble mosaic flooring, bespoke furniture, and textiles which feature motifs of peacocks, falcons, and horses. Other unique Versace-inspired references include the Medusa emblem, as well as eclectic prints and wallpapers much in the style of the Italian luxury house.

4. Urla

When radio deejay Kris Fade and his partner Brianna Ramirez celebrated their engagement together with their loved ones, the cosmopolitan couple went big on hosting their guests at the URLA Restaurant and Lounge. Located in the fountain level of Downtown Dubai, the establishment was designed by Design Infinity with the most luxurious furnishings and finishes such as lavish coliseum-like structures by the entrance, opulent marble tabletops for dining, and decor created around the concept of a coastline with curved features.

Beyond these design elements, the restaurant’s open plan also includes indoor seating, wine display areas, restrooms as well as deejay booths and selfie counters. Another fun fact: the picturesque rooftop venue was completed in a span of 90 days.

5. Forever Rose Cafe

Almost falling out of the pages in a storybook, the Ebraheem Al Samadi’s Forever Rose cafe at Boxpark by Meraas is simply iconic for its gorgeous pink blooms and illustrious black-and-white details that gives a three-dimensional effect.

The indoor space spanning 2,153 square feet encompasses seating for up to 100 guests and includes drawn-on wall features inspired by pop culture icons like Tom and Jerry, and the Pink Panther to notable figures in the region such as the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Crown Prince of Dubai. The cafe also features outdoor seating as seen when Zeina Khoury and her best friend, Safa Siddiqui, entered the restaurant to face the CEO executive in his establishment for a showdown.
