By the time you read this article, our team will be fully immersed in the creative energy of Milan Design Week 2025. We are on the ground, attending exclusive previews and first-look showcases from some of the most influential design houses and emerging talents in the industry.
Among these, the Hermès presentation remains an annual highlight—an exquisite demonstration of the French luxury brand’s refined approach to materiality, craftsmanship and design storytelling.

Ahead of the showcase, Tatler Homes also had a sneak peak at a trio of exquisite Hermès pieces for the 2025 home collection.
The Casaque collection of glasses, designed by Studio Hermès, showcases expert cold-cutting craftsmanship. Mouth-blown and lined with colour, the trio of glasses forms strips and chequerboards that shift in intensity depending on the angle of view.
Complementing this is the Points et Plans plaid, a 180 by 140cm cashmere blanket with artwork by Sudanese artist Amer Musa. Inspired by a chequers-like game, it features hand-applied multicoloured cashmere polka dots on a gridded weft.
The final reveal is a striking Pivot d’Hermès table by Tomas Alonso, measuring 75 by 60 by 55.5cm. Its lacquered glass surface interacts with light, creating varying visual effects.
A round sugi (Japanese cedar) box with an orange Epsom leather interior sits atop, moving on an eccentric axis—a nod to Japanese craftsmanship. With five assembled glass plates and a rotating chest top, the table offers three dynamic perspectives, blending precision with playful sophistication.
