Inspired by California’s Salinas Valley where a fine mist covers the valley and its fields in the summer to prevent crops from drying out, the HydroBreeze technology produces a cold mist that covers perishables within the compartment.
Combined with a temperature that hovers just above 0 degrees celsius, it ensures that fruits and vegetables retain crisp freshness whilst offering an extra boost for longer shelf life. HydroBreeze is activated every 90 minutes for four seconds; it’s also activated for 8 seconds when the refrigerator door is opened.
