Their decades-long journey is a testament to their shared trust, strength, and ambition to deliver only the best in quality bathroom and kitchen solutions
It was a stroke of serendipity. For two brands from opposite sides of the world to come together and chart a path of their own, the quest entailed immense trust, patience, and industry foresight from day one. In the 1990s, esteemed furnishing distributor Kuysen and German manufacturer hansgrohe took that first step together. Through the years, it has transposed beautifully into a synergistic relationship that has largely influenced the local construction and design scene today.

Not too long ago, the two companies considered themselves underdogs in the country, with the market largely populated by American brands. Kuysen began as a small industrial hardware store in Caloocan with its budding portfolio slowly growing. Upon its introduction in the Philippines, the German label's sleek, modern, and distinguishably minimalist designs naturally stood out. As trends and tastes changed, its European flair was a fresh addition to the homes of the discerning set.
hansgrohe built an organic and loyal following among the upscale segment—and it is undoubtedly thanks to the timeless quality and durability that it brings. With longevity, functionality, and seamless performance inherently forged into every product, it has cemented its lasting stature as a household name in the country.

Kuysen president Jensen Go acknowledges that they could not have achieved this remarkable feat alone. “A big part of our success should be attributed to our industry partners: the local architects, designers, and property developers who welcomed the challenge to adopt hansgrohe designs and European specifications,” he notes. “Being partners with a company as prestigious as hansgrohe shows our commitment to clients. It shows that we are not fly-by-night operators. We will hopefully be there for another 30 years to serve your requirements.”

Toasting to their momentous anniversary at the Kuysen Design + Experience Center last October 27, 2022, Go underlines how they will continue to provide exceptional bathroom and kitchen solutions. “We remain fully aware that it is because of the resilience and excellent quality at the heart of every hansgrohe product that keeps our customers glued to the brand and to Kuysen’s brand of service,” he says. “As we celebrate 30 years of our partnership with hansgrohe and you, our industry friends, we are even more resolute in bringing to the country innovative and exemplary products that the Filipino homemaker truly deserves.”
