For fashion designer Jessicacindy Hartono and JustCo co-founder and chief commercial officer Kong Wan Long, food is more than just an indulgent experience; it’s a shared passion the couple celebrate.
“We love going on foodie hunts,” shares Kong. “Whenever we travel, we also love exploring the local cuisines in different countries and towns,” adds Hartono.

It comes as no surprise then, that when travel was grounded due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, the couple—like many others—naturally drifted to their home kitchen. While Kong sharpened his culinary skills by whipping up flavourful dishes, Hartono used the lockdown period to hone her baking craft.
“I’ve always loved to bake since I was young,” shares the designer, who helms her namesake bridal boutique Jessicacindy. “However, I only had the chance to really learn how to bake during the lockdown period. I baked every day, sometimes until 2 or 4am in the morning!”
