Experience the seamless blend of artful living and local artisanship at Philux's new flagship showroom, nestled in SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall
Amidst the dynamic pulse of Metro Manila, a new haven of elegance and comfort has emerged. Philux, a name synonymous with exquisite craftsmanship and conscious luxury, has unveiled its largest showroom at SM Megamall's Mega Fashion Hall, inviting the discerning to experience the true essence of thoughtful design.
Since 1998, Philux has maintained an ever-evolving presence in SM Megamall, a leading commercial centre in Metro Manila. Its refreshed showroom is a reflection of this growth, offering an oasis of calm in the bustling urban sprawl. Here, every detail invites visitors to experience an elevated feeling of home.

Inspired by the spirit of Filipino craftsmanship, the space is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. "Furniture is the functional embodiment of the feeling of home, comfort and warmth," says Philux head of design Jessica Kienle Maxwell, capturing what the legacy family brand aims to create. The showroom features an array of visual elements: earthy tones, transitional wall mouldings, architraves in Ash wood with a ceruse brown finish and new arched mirrors illuminating the space. The Venetian plaster accent walls add an element of patina and texture to the interiors, enhancing the deep sense of heritage.

In a special nod to bespoke service, the showroom includes a consultation room for private meetings with in-house designers, ensuring every client's vision is brought to life.
At the heart of Philux is a dedication to conscious luxury, all crafted locally. "From the very beginning, local craftsmanship has been at the core of our company's DNA," shares managing director Stephanie Kienle Gonzalez. This ethos has guided their journey from a small, family-run operation to a brand synonymous with quality and innovation while being anchored by their Filipino roots.
Their story began in 1980 as a husband-and-wife endeavour, blossoming into a 200-strong team encompassing every aspect of furniture creation. As Maxwell notes, the brand's philosophy revolves around 'slow furniture'—where luxury is defined not by price but by the intention, care and effort invested into bringing each piece to life.

Philux's new space is likewise a canvas for creativity and fine details. Clients can personalise their furniture with various materials and combinations, reflecting their unique style and taste. "An intentional mix of materials can make for stimulating and inspired spaces," Gonzalez remarks, highlighting the brand's commitment to bespoke craft.
As Philux grows, its design aesthetic evolves, drawing inspiration from nature, Filipino motifs and contemporary European styles. The new showroom is a reflection of this diversity, featuring vibrant fabrics, bold prints, and a rich array of textures and finishes.

The space is a showcase of conscious design at its finest, a destination where luxury and local artisanship meet to create something truly exceptional.
