The Philippines’ first-ever brandy museum is now open, ready to guide enthusiasts of the distilled wine liquor to an immersive, intoxicating experience.

Located in Iloilo City, Brandy Museum by Emperador, Inc. honours the treasured history of producing Spanish brandy, a tradition that dates back to 711 AD. “Spanish brandy is one of those few drinks that many Filipinos can easily associate with some of their happiest, most treasured memories,” remarks Kendrick Tan, executive director of Emperador, Inc. Explaining their motivation behind the concept, he explains “we believe [the Brandy Museum] will give our guests a newfound appreciation for one of our most beloved liquors.” Once recognised as La Muy Leal y Noble Ciudad (The Most Loyal and Noble City) by Queen Regent Maria Cristina, Iloilo makes for a fitting setting.
