Yakiniku Gyubei's first overseas outlet in Singapore brings a unique nose-to-tail Wagyu dining experience

Yakiniku Gyubei, Japan’s renowned nose-to-tail yakiniku restaurant, has made its international debut with its first overseas outlet at 100 AM Mall in Singapore. Established in 1999 in Chiba, the restaurant has earned acclaim for its innovative “zero-waste” approach to meat consumption, opening 22 outlets across Japan before venturing abroad.

This entry into Singapore’s dynamic culinary scene introduces a new way to savour premium Wagyu beef. Yakiniku Gyubei’s philosophy revolves around sourcing whole Wagyu cows from Kyushu. The thoughtfully curated menu features 24 distinct Wagyu cuts, available both à la carte and in omakase sets, ensuring diners experience the full breadth of the cow.

Guests can indulge in premium selections such as sirloin, shoulder loin, rump, and chuck, as well as off-cuts like tongue, large intestines and tripe. This nose-to-tail approach not only supports sustainability but also showcases the complexities of Wagyu beef.

For lunch, Yakiniku Gyubei offers a variety of set meals, like the US beef rib lunch and the Signature Gyubei Lunch. Non-beef options include the Hokkaido pork lunch and Hokkaido pork and chicken thigh lunch. The omakase lunch for two includes six types of Wagyu cuts, a salad, side dishes and a choice of carb dishes.

Dinner options include omakase sets ranging from four to eight types of beef. Diners can also choose from à la carte offerings, including Wagyu nigiri, sashimi, and carpaccio. For those seeking variety, the menu extends to other meats like chicken and pork, as well as seafood, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
