Cordis, Hong Kong’s much-loved Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant and the renowned French heritage crystal brand are joining forces for Nature Sauvage – a one-of-a-kind collaboration combining gourmet food, fine wine and a stunning setting.
Available from now until 12 January 2021, this exquisite collaboration between Ming Court and Lalique is the first of its kind in Asia and will introduce diners to a very special themed room and menu, created especially for the year-long event and inspired by nature – a perfect partnership that represents a true meeting of minds between the restaurant and the glassmakers.
Boasting over a century of craftsmanship expertise, Lalique’s flawless crystal creations delight in reinterpreting the beauty of the natural world, earning the brand plaudits from around the globe. Likewise, Ming Court’s refined take on traditional Cantonese cuisine, where nature’s finest ingredients are turned into culinary works of art, has seen it awarded Michelin-star status in Hong Kong for over a decade.
Especially for Nature Sauvage, one of Ming Court’s exclusive private rooms has received a dazzling bespoke makeover courtesy of Lalique – with elegant new furnishings, decorative elements and sophisticated tableware chosen from the luxury brand’s trademark nature-themed collections. Meanwhile, Ming Court’s Executive Chef Li Yuet-Faat has created a similarly elegant eleven-course menu designed to befit this spectacular setting, with seasonal produce that represents the best nature has to offer throughout the year, including top-drawer ingredients like abalone, bird’s nest, caviar and sea cucumber.
