Make the most out of your mealtime with our roundup of timely treats
It may be hard to get back to the regular work week following last week's extra long weekend, but there’s always something to put a smile on your face—especially if you’re a food lover. We're talking about exciting summer menus as well as a bevy of weekend brunch options to look forward to.
1. Summerlong
Last month, this riverside restaurant launched Sunday Vibes, a four-part series held every last Sunday of the month that allows guests to soak in its laid back ambience while listening to a live DJ performance and tucking into inspired Mediterranean fare and refreshing cocktails.
The next session is on August 25, and this time around, DJ Junior Turcios (a.k.a JR) will be providing the beats. Kebabs are still the highlight of the menu and options include grilled chicken kebab and the vegetarian-friendly fried falafel kebab.
In case you’re wondering, there are mezze and side dishes, too. And you’ll have much more than the classic selection to feast on, from hummus and kale tabbouleh, to substantial bites like wagyu beef burger stacked with melted cheese, capsicum and greens, and grilled barramundi with a side of seasonal salad.
