These sweet creations are sure to make your loved one swoon on the most romantic day of the year

Valentine’s Day is less than a week away, and if you are looking to impress your date, why not surprise them with a sweet treat? This year, pastry chefs have taken the romance up a notch and created a selection of decadent desserts specially for the occasion—think chocolate sculptures, rich milkshakes and sinfully delicious cakes.

Come February 14, ditch the classic box of chocolate truffles and pamper your loved one with these treats instead. We promise, these treats are sure to win over their hearts—and tummies.

Surprise your sweetheart with Lady M’s framboise au chocolat, an edible heart layered with velvety chocolate mousse, chocolate sponge and a fruity raspberry compote. Impress your date with the lavish Heart of Eternity sculpture, a show-stopping piece featuring Pure Imagination’s bean-to-bar single origin 70 per cent dark chocolate shaped like mini hearts. Or, opt for the Valentine’s cake with delicate layers of rich cream cheese mousse, light vanilla sponge and strawberry rose compote. The decadent dessert is shaped to resemble a heart and finished with artistic splashes of colour. Available from now until February 28.

This craft beer and burger restaurant’s Valentine’s Day exclusive CrazyShake makes this occasion all the more indulgent with its red velvet cake batter shake, served in a vanilla-frosted rimmed glass and decorated with red and white sprinkles.
