An abbreviation of Sommelier, Somm is a French neo-bistro restaurant offering fine casual dining with a spectacularly diverse selection of over 1,600 champagnes, wines, and sakes. Located adjacent to Amber at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, Somm invites all to end the day with good wines in good company. Starting today, guests can enjoy happy hour with friends and colleagues at Somm Hour, with a range of Sommelier-selected sparkling, white and red wine at HK$150+ per glass (125ml), and a complimentary cold cut platter upon every order of two glasses.
During Somm Hour, the sommelier’s selection of sparkling wines includes 2007 Hostomme ‘H07’ Brut Nature, Champagne 1er cru, France, and NV Nyetimber Rose, Sussex, England. Guests can also choose from a dazzling array of white wines, highlighting 2020 Cloudy Bay ‘Te Koko’, Marlborough, New Zealand, 2021 Weingut Keller ‘Limestone’ Kabinett, Rheinhessen, Germany (off-dry), 2018 Fleury Coteaux Champenois Blanc, Champagne, France, and 2020 Benanti ‘Contrada Rinazzo’ Superiore, Etna DOC, Sicily, Italy. As for the red wines, the selection includes 2012 Château Sociando-Mallet, Haut-Médoc, France, 2008 De Martino ‘Familia’, Maipo Valley, Chile, 2018 Greystone Pinot Noir, Waipara Valley, New Zealand, and 2018 Gallica Grenache, Sonoma Valley, USA. These selections are subject to seasonal change.
