The popular tapas joint's first outlet in Asia will be located at The Quayside, Robertson Quay

We might have been stuck in Singapore for the past year, but we are still lucky that our palates can travel the globe thanks to our dynamic dining scene where almost all cuisines are available. Come mid-May, you'll have more choices when it comes to Spanish cuisine as popular tapas joint Tapas 24 is opening its first outlet in Asia at The Quayside, Robertson Quay. The brand will be brought over to our neck of the woods by F&B group L’Angélus.

As expected, gourmands are excited given that it had been extremely hard to snag seats at its three outlets in Spain pre-Covid period. Moreover, it is helmed by renowned chef Carles Abellán, who has also worked with the legendary Ferran Adria at multi-awarded El Bulli restaurant. Since it opened in 2007, gourmands have been flocking to the bar to get a taste of its sumptuous tapas which includes the classic bikini (cheese sandwich) and patatas bravas.

The Singapore outpost will be an all-day restaurant and bar that is a tribute to Barcelona's culture. While not much news have been announced about its official opening, we're sure it will be our latest hang out place for its sublime tapas, sangrias and Spanish Street Cocktails coupled with unfussy service and buzzy atmosphere.
