Atelier Choux is renowned for imbuing baby essentials with Parisian sophistication, reimagining nursery staples as inseparable from interior design. Its assortment of bedding, textile accessories, wall decor, and clothing keep in line with a distinct French aesthetic—think that of Madeline, the series of children’s books set in Paris. On the savoury side is a selection of moreish canapés that prove an ode to French gastronomy. Begin an afternoon tea session with classic egg sandwiches infused with truffle, thinly sliced potatoes rolled in croissants with potato cream, and foie gras terrine with avocado puree in an edible flower wrap. Highlights of The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur’s savoury offerings are seafood-forward, housing salmon mousse with orange glaze, caviar, and pickled beetroot on a savoury sablé and a cured tuna tartlet dressed with saffron aioli and wasabi mayo.
