Here are some delicious meal ideas to break your fast this Ramadan
In Singapore, Ramadan is observed by Muslims, who devote a month to fasting, prayer, and reflection. During this month, a day of fasting is marked afterwards by the Iftar, a meal to have after sunset. This is also the period where Singapore sees numerous night market pop-ups around the island, affectionately known as Ramadan bazaars; some are located within the enclaves of Kampong Gelam and Geylang Serai. These bazaars are usually crowded in the evenings, signalling the breaking of the fast at sundown by offering a smorgasbord of sloppy tacos, burgers, and fried traditional goodies.
And like its bazaar counterparts, restaurants around the island offer some of the most tantalising menus to pull in the crowds. From mezze-inspired menus to impressive roasts, these restaurants ensure that every bite is worth the wait.
