The renowned French crystal brand's Nature Sauvage theme room is extended with a revamped special set menu
Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant Ming Court and French renowned crystal brand Lalique’s Nature Sauvage theme room collaboration has been extended with a revamped special set menu to kick off the new year in 2024.
It is a partnership of kindred spirits: Lalique, through its meticulous craftsmanship, has won worldwide fame for interpretations of the infinite forms of the natural world in elegant designs of crystal. In the same way, Ming Court has forged a reputation and achieved a Michelin-star rating since 2009, as well as Black Pearl status since 2018 through the expert craftsmanship of refined Cantonese cuisine, transforming nature’s finest and local freshest ingredients into authentic culinary works of art.
By redesigning the decor of one of Ming Court’s exclusive private dining rooms, Lalique has recently brought a dazzling metamorphosis that features flora and fauna from the savannah, jungle and forests. Befitting such a magnificent setting, Chinese cuisine executive chef Li Yuet Faat has recreated a sumptuous six-course seasonal menu presenting the peak of nature’s bounty from the beginning of the new year. Ming Court, also known for its masterful pairings, features one bottle of Château Lafurie-Peyraguey 2016, Premier Grand Cru Classé Sauternes to accompany chef Li’s stellar menu, to be served in glasses from James Suckling’s 100 Points collection with Lalique.
The six-course set menu with one bottle of Sauternes is priced at HK$2,888 plus 10% service charge for two persons. Each guest will receive a complimentary set of Lalique scented candle (valued at HK$680). Advance reservation is required; bookings can be made by calling the restaurant at +852 3552 3300 or via email.
