The restaurant at Goodwood Park Hotel has come up with new interpretations of Cantonese and Sichuanese cuisine
The Min River snakes across the Chengdu Plain, meandering its way through a terrain lush with foliage and stunning valleys. A tributary of the great Yangtze River, the Min has irrigated the region for over two thousand years, enabling a rich food culture to emerge in the heart of Sichuan—one that has earned Chengdu the reputation of the “Land of Abundance”.
Min Jiang, located right here in Singapore, is a descendent of that millennia-old culinary heritage. A direct translation of the Mandarin for “Min River”, the restaurant at the Goodwood Park Hotel (and its sister outlet in Dempsey) pay homage to the life-giving river that has allowed such abundance to flourish with its Chinese-focused creations.

Not one to keep its legacy static, Min Jiang at Goodwood Park introduced new à la carte, set, and dim sum menus this past December, offering diners a feast amid the restaurant’s lush surroundings and modern finishes that reflect the hotel's refinement. If you find yourself seated at one of its pristine marble tables, you can expect immaculate dishes such as stewed noodles in a luscious sauce, accompanied by a plump abalone and prawn. Or the stir-fried lobster, whose sweetness is complemented by the kick of the restaurant’s homemade XO sauce.
For dim sum aficionados, Min Jiang has also released new dim sum dishes. The same level of detail goes into these delicate creations, which include a braised beancurd skin roll packed with chicken and prawn, as well as a steamed dumpling studded with black truffle—creations as elegant as its interiors.
Timeless yet modern, Min Jiang continues to be guided by the sustenance and abundance of the Min River, inheriting a cultural legacy that lives on in its food. From leisurely dim sum lunches to family gatherings, corporate hosting, evening soirees, events and that special moment, Min Jiang appeals to all with food to nourish the soul and service that touches the heart.
