A tribute to all things Filipino, Resorts World Manila unveils its newest signature dining outlet, Casa Buenas, which highlights exquisite cuisine, architecture, and the quintessential hospitality and service Filipinos are known for. Add to that, a profusion of Spanish influences seamlessly incorporated in the menu created by Resorts World Manila’s Executive Chef Godfrey Laforteza.
Similar to a classic Filipino ancestral home, guests are welcomed at the Sala, a cosy lounge where one can enjoy delightful tapas such as the intriguing shrimp isaw (an interesting take on a Filipino street food favourite) or a charcuterie platter good for sharing, paired with any of the signature cocktails from the adjoining bar, Aguador.
The staff greets guests in the vernacular and then leads them to the Comedor (main dining room). Fine details like the baked capiz fixtures, solihiya furniture, hand-carved hardwood floors, and original Machuca tiles complete the iconic elements of a Bahay na Bato. These, all put together, make the dining experience—from food to interiors and service—very Filipino.
