The childhood friends-turned-partners behind private dining concept Nost deliver a nostalgic menu at the incubation space

Move over, Quality Melts. Lostinthenost, a pop-up experience from private dining concept Nost, will be taking over Ghostwriter’s incubation space for its March residency. Running from March 8 to 25, this boundary-pushing experimental concept will be Nost’s last pop-up before they move into a permanent space in April.

Nost, founded by childhood friends Erik David Tan and Jinfero (Jin) Tanzil, has always had nostalgia in its DNA—turning retrospectively to the pop culture of the past while reimagining its possibilities. The partners, both classically trained at Le Cordon Bleu, make a perfect pair; Erik takes care of the kitchen, while Jin oversees the bar and general operations. Both bring a level of complementary expertise that aims to create an atmosphere of joy and community.

Foodies here will have something new to munch throughout the fortnightly run, with sharing-friendly dishes set to evolve every week. Don’t miss platters like the Lunchbox, which includes pimento cheese sandwiches, fromage de tête, pickles, olives, grapes, Ritz crackers, infused honey, and mushroom brie and carrot. Savour premium dishes such as the Plat de Poubelle, and don’t neglect desserts such as the chocolate Cremeux and torched Swiss cream.

Complete the meal with a sips menu curated by Jin, pulling from his experience as an expert craftsman of beverages. Sample house creations like Werthers Unoriginal with brown butter-washed rum, creme de cacao and demerara, or sip on wines such as Black Label Shiraz, available by the glass.
