For a limited time only, travel to Japan’s Miyagi prefecture on a dining adventure

Featuring ingredients sourced exclusively from the Japanese prefecture of Miyagi, Teppanyaki Mihara has released an all-new eight-course tasting menu for HK$1,480 per person. Launching this May, Mihara-san has bridged a connection that less than a handful of other F&B groups have been able to establish.

Starting the experience off with shellfish imported directly from the world-renowned Sanriku fishing region in Miyagi, diners are treated to a pair of jet-fresh appetisers: a Kesennuma smoked oyster pickled in olive oil, and a sashimi-style Sendai scallop. After your palate has been awakened, Mihara-san prepares a sublime Sendai yukina and shark fin wonton consommé before serving a teppanyaki grilled conger eel and foie gras topped with balsamic reduction sauce.

The chef’s teppanyaki mastery will be on full display as he grills a Sanriku sautéed black abalone paired with seaweed butter sauce, before the star of the show, an A5 Sendai wagyu beef rib-eye is served. To round out the experience, diners are treated to a savoury Sakura shrimp fried rice straight off the teppan grill. No dining experience can be complete without a tasty dessert, and at Teppanyaki Mihara, guests will be served a seasonal Miyagi-inspired dessert to round out the meal.
