This popular café has opened its second outlet at Orchard Central. Look forward to a selection of delectable food and aromatic brews. Naturally, its signature house blend is a must try. A medium-bodied cuppa, this blend is a fragrant medley of beans from Brazil and Sumatra, offering chocolate-y and nutty notes. Complement your cup of joe with Japanese-inspired sandos such as the spam truffle egg mayo, which features layers of creamy truffle egg mayo and pork spam sandwiched between slices of fluffy shokupan (milk bread).

2. Bag Me Up

This newest bagel house has opened its doors along Everton Park and serves up a hearty selection of gourmet bagel sandwiches. Bagels here rolled by hand and prepped fresh daily. Besides the usual suspects of smoked salmon and cream cheese, try the Bag Me Up signature instead and find soft unagi, ham and lettuce stuffed between perfectly toasted bagel slices. It’s also slathered with an eel sauce, adding umami to each bite. For something classic, the Brekkie is layered with bacon, scrambled eggs and torched cheese.
