Specialty: Lunn buns
Order this: Lunn bun with chocolate butter
“The buns here are amazing. This was the first place I ate at when I first moved to Bath for university and it’s also the first place I bring anyone when they visit me in Bath! I also love the Sally Lunn Cream Tea—this is the only place I’ll drink tea at. This place is not only great for a tea, but also packed with history as it’s also a museum and a historical site, as one of the oldest houses in Bath.”
Sally Lunn's Eating House & Museum: 4 N Parade Passage, Bath BA1 1NX, United Kingdom
Favourite restaurant: La Terra
Cuisine: Modern Italian
Order this: Squid ink linguine with Devon white crab meat
“This little Italian spot focuses on a small menu, but they do it well. What I get each time is the Granchio: a squid ink linguine with Devon white crab meat and a crab sauce. It’s genuinely one of the best pastas I’ve ever tried. I haven’t been able to find any other restaurants that do squid ink linguine with crab meat as well as La Terra. My personal tip is to order it with extra sauce on the side. I go so often that they know my order as soon as they see me. Other recommendations would be the scallops or the burrata as a starter.”
La Terra: 2 John St, Bath BA1 2JL, United Kingdom
Best Sunday roast: Beckford Canteen

Cuisine: Modern British
Order this: Roast beef or roast chicken breast
“This place is not only in one of the prettiest parts of Bath, but the interior is the perfect setting for a Sunday roast. I usually get the beef or chicken roast, and it comes with vegetables, cauliflower cheese, potatoes, and obviously a Yorkshire pudding. They’re very generous with their sides and the overall roast is so good. This menu is only available on Sundays so I come here whenever I can.”

Best sandwiches: Green Street Butchers
Order this: Rotisserie chicken and mayo sandwich
“This butcher and provisions store is the best spot for a quick lunch—probably the best sandwich in Bath! They roast their chicken in their rotisserie fresh everyday, and their bread is also freshly made in house.”
Green Street Butchers: 10 Green St, Bath BA1 2JZ, United Kingdom
Best bagel: Taylor's Bagels

Above Peri Peri Chicken Schnitzel Bagel (Instagram: @taylors.bagels)
Order this: Chicken bagel
“This place is famous among locals, and the portions are huge. The bagels are made fresh by their sister bakery—soft but still chewy, and filled with crispy fried chicken schnitzel, lettuce, mayo, and cheese.”
Taylor's Bagels: multiple locations
Best place for Asian food: Charm Thai
Cuisine: Thai
Order this: Massaman chicken curry or minced chicken in spicy prawn paste
“There aren't many Asian options in Bath that taste authentic and up to my Asian standards. This is one where the spice levels are right and it’s become my comfort place for whenever I get homesick or have friends that want to eat Asian food.”
Charm Thai: 2 George St, Bath BA1 2EH, United Kingdom
