It already comes with a few accolades under its belt

Between modelling and filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians, it seems that 25-year-old Kendall Jenner has also spent the past four years working on something of a more libationary nature, as her latest Instagram post reveals.

818 is the name of Kendall's first solo venture, a tequila brand produced in the Mexican spirit's traditional heartland of Jalisco. The social media announcement finally sheds light on the spirit, which until recently flew under the radar while winning multiple awards at alcohol competitions such as the Chairman's Trophy at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge, and the Innovation Award at SIP Awards.

In keeping in line with tequila tradition, 818 is made exclusively using Blue Weber agave plants harvested from the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco. Three expressions will be made available upon launch: blanco, reposado and añejo.

Kendall's tequila brand is a departure from the beauty-oriented businesses of her sisters Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian-West, who founded Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty respectively. 818's launch is a turnaround for Kendall, who in 2016 was described by sister Khloe to Elle as "really focused and determined" when it came to abstaining from alcohol.
