For this year’s release, they bring in a sense of continuity in excellence through the precise blend of previous versions of eaux-de-vie from the past Years of the Snake. A refined blend, assertive in its brilliance, brings a nuanced flavour profile that evokes the enigmatic personality of the snake. Initial notes of citrus and soft spices open up to notes of tobacco and wood, subtly evolving towards candied fruit, fresh blackcurrant, and quince marmalade.

This version is launched in collaboration with Baccarat, one of France’s most iconic and revered manufacturers of fine crystal. The cognac is presented in a mouth-blown crystal decanter with a red crystal stopper in the shape of a serpent’s head. Boasting a 19-carat gold neck, intricately engraved with a snakeskin motif, the decanter is a nod to the rarity and marvel of the liquid it holds and a true representation of craftsmanship.
