Bringing the storied allure of New York City to the shores of Nusa Dua, Jack’s Club transforms The St. Regis Bar into a seasonal sanctuary of live jazz, bespoke mixology, and refined bar experience.
There is a precise moment when dusk settles over Nusa Dua, as the humid tropical heat softens into a gentle sea breeze. Inside The St. Regis Bar, the lights dim to a warm, amber glow, signalling the start of an evening that feels distinctly removed from the island's usual pace. Running through to the end of September, the resort introduces Jack’s Club, the global St. Regis concept’s first iteration within a resort setting.
Named in honour of John Jacob Astor IV, who founded The St. Regis New York in 1904, the activation pays homage to the legendary cabaret and jazz clubs of early Manhattan. Yet, rather than replicating the past, the experience adapts effortlessly to its Balinese backdrop, bridging classic New York heritage with modern tropical sophistication.

The air fills with the opening notes of a live set, drifting from the dark-wood interiors out onto the open-air terrace. Midweek evenings are anchored by the soft, rhythmic cadence of Bossa Nova, while weekends bring a heightened energy. Resident vocalist Whitney Pharoe, accompanied by a five-piece live band, delivers a repertoire of soulful jazz standards that invite guests to sink into deep leather seats and linger over conversation.
At the bar, head bartender Giri Asta leads a cocktail programme designed specifically for the season. The menu balances classic proportions with subtle local influences: think crisp, aromatic pours alongside the quiet luxury of Dom Pérignon pairings.
