Cultural Collaborations

Make a timely toast with the Maison’s annual limited‐edition Chinese New Year releases. Each year, Hennessy partners with Chinese collaborators who display the spirit of individuality in their craft, notably painter Yan Pei‐Ming in 2023 and new media artist Yang Yongliang in 2024.

This year’s exclusive release introduces a collection by Shanghai-based fashion designer Shuting Qiu, known for her bountiful colour palette and intricate embroideries. From the vibrant hues to embossed snake motifs and spring accents on Hennessy’s iconic V.S.O.P, X.O, and Paradis bottles, Qiu’s designs perfectly encapsulates Hennessy as the ultimate Chinese New Year gift.

A Journey Through Hennessy’s Legacy

Accompanying the launch of the limited editions are two exciting experiences that will take place in Ion Orchard. The travelling exhibition titled Crafted, by Hennessy, which runs from January 13 to 26, arrives in Singapore as the second stop in Asia. Visitors can journey through Hennessy’s beginnings and its careful distillation process of how the best eaux de vie are selected by their Tasting Committee.

Visitors can also get up close and personal with Hennessy’s rarest releases including Dame‐Jeanne, the Paradis Unlimited, Edition Particulière, Richard Hennessy Magnum, and the Hennessy X.O x Jean Michel Othoniel—a collection totalling €1.348 million.

Lunar Light-Up

Equally compelling is the Hennessy Kinetic Garden, a garden-themed installation by local paper artist Pei Li at the facade of Ion Orchard from January 20 to February 2.

Inspired by Qiu’s bold textures and fresh design, experience a garden of life-size flowers and bottle displays with culturally significant blooms such as peonies and plum blossoms. A daily light-up segment at 8.18pm till midnight makes it the perfect setting to usher in the arrival of spring for commemorative photos.
