Going under the hammer are lots sourced primarily from six prominent cellars—most notably The Sovereign Cellar and The Collection of the Chairman. For Bordeaux collectors, The Sovereign Cellar offers more than 200 original wood cases of premier Bordeaux—40 first growth case lots, blessed with large format bottles from prized vintages of 2005, 2009, and 2010. Virtually every lot is housed in its original wood case, boasting immaculate conditions.

For those with a penchant for Burgundy, The Collection of the Chairman is a treasure chest featuring 30 lots of the eponymous Domaine de la Romanée Conti (DRC) and ultra-rare gems like the 1996 Henri Jayer Cros Parantoux, 2016 Coche-Dury Corton Charlemagne, and 1993 Domaine Leroy Nuits St. Georges. For bubbly, The Golden Bull Collection offers an outstanding lineup, highlighting magnums of 2002 Salon Le Mesnil and the remarkable Krug Clos du Mesnil, from 1988, 1998, 2004, 2006, and 2008, in both bottles and magnums.

Buyers also have a chance to acquire age-worthy wines directly from the cellars of these distinguished estates: Domaine Hubert Lignier and Domaine Alex Moreau. These houses will showcase exceptional wines from Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey Chambertin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrache, and more.

The longstanding US-based auction company’s first auction in Asia debuted in Hong Kong back in 2008. But Andrew Bigbee, Asia CEO of Acker Wines, says that “the company has since shifted its focus to the Southeast Asian region, more specifically Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand”. Now the elusive bottle you’ve always dreamed of owning is closer to reach. All’s left to do is snag a seat during the auction and raise the paddle when the lot surfaces.
